The meaning behind Bella Ciao from La Casa De Papel
Money Heist
Here's the meaning behind Bella Ciao from La Casa De Papel
Whether you're a Money heist fan (which if you are; i'm pretty sure you're a crazy one) or not, i'm sure you heard the song Bella Ciao Bella Ciao Bella Ciao ciao ciao (Don't you always sing even if you're just reading ???)
If you wanna know what it litreally means, well
''Bella Ciao'' means 'goodbye beautiful'
BUT BUT BUT....
aren't you wondering why're they singing 'Goodbye beautiful' ?
You see, the central gang of the eight robbers sings the song "Bella Ciao" right before their heist in order to brace themselves and to celebrate their victory as there's some history associated with the song.
Originally sung by the Italian partisans fighting fascism during World War II, the song became a revolutionary anthem at that time, as they were saying goodbye to their families and loved ones as they left for the battle.
since the it became a kind of symbol of Power,
As in this show Money heist this song signified,
THE RESISTANCE (makes sense ,huh?)
